Etonbury Pupils’ Code of Conduct

 We have high expectations of the entire school community.

 Common sense should be at the front of everyone's mind.

 Mutual co-operation, respect for property, respect for our environment and, above all, respect for each other, are essential to our happiness.

 I should remember that we are all valued and I should value others.

 RIGHTS

 Everybody has the right to:

     ·        Learn

·        Feel happy and be safe in ALL areas of the school

·        Work without unnecessary interruption

·        Seek help if they have a problem

  

RESPONSIBILITIES

     ·        Be punctual at all times

·        Dress smartly in school uniform

·        Be properly equipped with the right equipment for each lesson

·        Move around school sensibly and safely – keep left

·        Refrain from using foul language and physical violence

·        Listen to instructions and obey school rules

  

RESPECT

 Everybody at Etonbury should show respect by:

     ·        Respecting other peoples’ opinions and feelings

·        Recognising other peoples’ right to learn

·        Respecting other peoples’ property

·        Respecting school property

  

“Bullying is repeated physical or verbal abuse inflicted by one or more persons upon someone physically or mentally unable to resist.  It is behaviour that causes sustained hurt and/or distress to another person and we want to stamp it out!”
